Jetstar is a brand-new airline that provides low fares in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. It is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia. It is 100% owned by Qantas in Australia. It started to provide domestic flights in Australia on May 24, 2004. At the same time, it provides Asian interval services and provides Asian interval flights (Singapore Jetstar Airways), it is jointly established by Qantas (49%), Singaporean businessman Tony Chew(22%), FF Wong(10%) and Temasek Holdings(19%), with the transit center located in Singapore.

At present, Jetstar Airlines has 27 Airbus A320-200 (each can carry about 180 passengers),1 A321 and 6 A330S.
