In accordance with the Foreign Trade Law of the the People's Republic of China of China, the Regulations on the Administration of the Import and Export of the People's Republic of China Goods and the Measures for the Administration of the Import of Key Used Mechanical and Electrical Products, the Catalogue of Goods Subject to Import License Administration in 2009 is hereby issued (see Annex), and the relevant issues are announced as follows:

In 2009, two kinds of goods under import license management were ozone-depleting substances and key used mechanical and electrical products, with a total of 83 8-bit HS codes (including 154 10-bit HS codes).

This catalogue will be implemented as of January 1, 2009. The Catalogue of Commodities under Import License Administration in 2008 shall be abolished at the same time.
